
This course has been created by the AFSOS (French-speaking association for supportive care in in oncology), with support from the L’Oréal Foundation, which has played an active role in supporting socio-aestheticians for more than 10 years. It has two main purposes:
Raising awareness of the role and position of socio-aesthetics in oncology (module 1)
Who it is for: socio-aestheticians working in health centres, organisations and in patients’ homes, aestheticians who would like to start caring for people with cancer, nurses, caregivers, and health support professionals.
Raising awareness of the risk of skin toxicities related to treatments: what are they, and what advice should be given? (modules 2, 3 and 4)
